Catherine’s trip details on for 3 days/2 nights Day 1: – Departure from Cairo on at 8 am – Arrival at Camp Fox Catherine at 2 pm – Rest and preparation for hiking at 4 pm to Wadi Gebel – Arrival before sunset, lunch (grilled chicken /Kofta/bread/tahini) -Overnight stay in a simple farm with sleeping bags and a basic bathroom.
Day 2: – Breakfast, start climbing Mount Catherine – Reach the summit before noon.
-Enjoy being on Egypt’s highest peak, watching the sunset from the top.
– Prepare dinner (grilled chicken/bread/Kofta/tahini) *Closed room for girls at the summit for sleeping bags and jackets.
Day 3: – Watch the sunrise from the summit – Start descending the mountain, reach the beginning of Wadi Al-Arbaeen at Uncle Ramadan’s farm for breakfast (beans/white cheese/sweetness/jam/bread) – Rest until 4 pm then return to Camp Fox and wait for the minibus back to Cairo around midnight.
