Mount Serbal is not just a trip; it is a true challenge for both body and mind.
One of the most majestic and awe-inspiring mountains in Sinai, it consists of five peaks forming a crown-like rocky massif. Its highest peak rises to 2,070 meters above sea level, and its views are reached only by those with determination and experience.
This is a professional-level expedition and is not suitable for beginners. It requires:
• High physical fitness
• Previous experience in mountain trails
• Readiness for camping in harsh conditions
• Strong equipment and the ability to endure long hours of hiking and ascent
Assessing your own capability is your personal responsibility. Our role is to provide professional guides, safe routes, proper equipment, and food.
A fitness assessment is required before joining, based on a set of questions to evaluate readiness.
Trip Program
Day One
Transfer by pickup trucks to the wadi floodplain – breakfast, then hiking to Wadi Ram Al-Mahasna, continuing to Wadi Al-Sudriyat
17 km of hiking
Lunch in Wadi Al-Qalib, passing by Hagar Um-Bardiya, arrival at Farsh Al-Lawza for camping.
Day Two
Breakfast before sunrise – ascent of Jabal Al-Rajm – camping and lunch
Proceed to Jabal Al-Zagheeb at the Hanging Rock, then continue to Jabal Al-Sadr to watch the sunset
6 km of hiking – return to camp.
Day Three
Breakfast before sunrise – ascent of Jabal Al-Shananeer
Descent to Hagar Um-Bardiya – lunch – return to Wadi Ram
17 km of hiking
Transfer by pickup trucks, then by bus for the return.
Total Hiking Distance:
More than 35 km, reaching up to 42 km on foot
Important Notice:
The Mount Serbal route is entirely rocky, both during hiking and camping, and requires specialized footwear and a high level of focus.
